There was nothing I didn’t like

Everything was spectacular at the Mimpi Resort. The staff gave excellent service. The rooms are large and beds were comfy. The bathroom was large and well set out. The grounds were well kept and beautiful day and night with the lighting. The pools and hot springs were Devine and the dinning was absolutely glorious.

There was nothing that we disliked about this property.

- The expansive gardens - the kind staff - the quality and preparation of the food - the generous breakfast - the value for money - the dining views of the boat harbour - the guided snorkeling trip with packed lunch - the thermal pools - the elegant spa - the security. - A botanical oasis in a unique location. - the prompt attention to and repair of our air conditioner.

- the price of transfer quoted to our next accommodation was way higher than any similar transfer quoted in Bali. We arranged our own driver at around half the price. - The road frontage on approach is not well presented, so is not a true indication of the beautiful gardens within (the area is in drought though).. so after a long drive first impressions were not good and we were at first a bit concerned about where ewe were arriving to. - the empty allotment across the road was full of plastic litter, which really detracts as you arrive/exit the property. Unfortunately on the last morning of our stay a rubbish pile on this allotment was set on fire, sending stinking toxic smoke through the accommodation area of the resort. While not the fault of the resort, this same issue was experienced everywhere we stayed throughout Bali, impacting both air quality and clarity. The burning of plastics is banned in our own country due to toxicity but has become so widespread in Bali that, for us, this would be the biggest negative when considering a return to Bali for holidays, also the amount of roadside plastic litter we witnessed in northern Bali was ugly and environmentally concerning. Having said that, the grounds of the resort are immaculate, with large trees..

Maybe this is the place we can call paradise. Beautiful and well maintained garden. Very friendly staff. Super relaxing surrounding. Spa was also excellent and very good price as well. We are completely satisfied with our stay. I saw some negative review of the restaurant but it’s located just right front of ocean and you can see the mangrove. I could stay there forever. They had also wonderful cappuccino. Maybe the taste is depends on what you order. We totally enjoyed our stay.

We really liked everything. Sometimes the reaction of staffs were a little slow but it’s the style of this country side. Even made us felt more relaxing.

Best snorkelling ever, staff so nice, amazing massage, Puja at the restaurant was incredible!!!

There was a weird group booking and they took up the whole yoga chalet and we could not walk directly to our room which made it much longer to get to and from our room to the facilities, they were also very loud sometimes

Nice pools and hot springs. One of the pools and restaurant had a great sunset view. Nice buffet breakfast Great snorkeling at the nearby Island. Boats to the island pick you up at the resort.

I thought they had a beach and I thought you could swim in the ocean there

The natural hot spring pools are awesome, multiple pools, ranging from mid to hot temperature. Dip pool at villa's is awesome spot to relax your tired body after activities. Garden, Villas are beautiful and well manicured.

Waiting time for room service and restaurant orders. The bathroom is hot lacking of ventilation/Fan. Poor sound insulation between villa's, you can hear people next door. Spa/massage can't get the time, since i was there on peak season.

I always come back to Mimpi Resort if I head to West Bali. Brilliant location, food, facilities and staff. Close to everything you need to be. Oh and the spa experience was exceptional.

What a fabulous place ! The grounds are like a large park- comfy rooms with outdoor shower. Hot springs are located on the property. My room had a private pool and a hot spring tub. The restaurant is located on the edge of a lagoon.

Service was absolutely amazing. The resort is stunning, the better place to relax and get the most of bali.

Would have been helpful to have scooter as the nearest village is 10km far from the resort.

the location is amazing. the walk from the villa to the restaurant and main pool is like walking thru a well manicured park. The views from the restaurant out across the inlet and happenings of the adjacent jetty are a wonderful bonus! (The two natural hot spring baths were great for a sneaky night swim)

Everybody is really nice and friendly. Monkey’s in the grass. Relaxing atmosphere... the resort is really nice

The restaurant is a reason for me not to come back here. Chickennuggets... from the freezer, like warmed up in a microwave? Pizza the one you buy in a supermarket freezer and then a very very cheap brand. The prices are way too high.

The property is quite, peace, calm & surroundings by nature. Just few mins walk to white sandy beach. Still calm not many people & touristics. U will find sometimes the monkeys in the garden but they r not aggressives.

We did the Menjangan National Park Trekking for 2hrs honestly it was bad for the price that they charged us. U could do on your own the trekking, no need the guide. It’s better u do 90mins Mimpi Massage in their spa than this trekking.

Potentially the best resort we have ever been to. The comfort and relaxation the private hot spring gives is unimaginabile! The on-site diving/snorkeling is way overpeiced, though :)

I always stay here when i want to make a stop in Menjangan. About the room: Clean bed, and super comfy! They think all the details about it, prepare the hot spring bath while we were diving, and they prepared some fruits everyday. It‘s just perfect!

Just improve alittle bit fot the breakfast.

Nice hotel but the restaurant had terrible food and the breakfast was not great. The pools were great but thought there might have been a bit of a beach but there is no way you would ever swim in that area. A little far from stuff but there were bikes to use and you could get to other beaches for a walk. Not great restaurants around. You had to go to the National Park by taxi to get great food.
